
Laura is a senior heritage advisor for Historical Archaeology in Extent Heritage’s Melbourne office. She completed a Bachelor of Archaeology with Honours from La Trobe University in 2015 and has worked as a heritage advisor in Victoria since January 2016. Laura has extensive experience working in historical and Aboriginal archaeology across Victoria, having completed eight large-scale urban excavations from planning to post-excavation.
In Laura’s most recent role within the Archaeology Team at Heritage Victoria, she provided specialist archaeological advice to a range of stakeholders and undertook consent assessments, registration assessment research, and Victorian Heritage Inventory Assessments under the Heritage Act 2017. Laura has listed over 100 historical archaeological sites across the Victorian Goldfields and has a developed interest in urban archaeology.
