
Jorge Fuenzalida Miralles is a senior archaeologist in the Australian heritage consulting industry with six years of experience in the New South Wales, Victorian, and Queensland systems. He holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours First Class (major in Anthropology). Jorge’s skills include Aboriginal community consultation, report writing, GIS analysis—with a focus on landscape predictive modelling—and data management.
He has extensive experience in the planning and management of site surveys, test excavations and salvages for Aboriginal heritage, as well as the logistics involved with this fieldwork. Jorge has worked on a variety of projects from small scale developments to State Significant Developments—this has included work on long linear infrastructure (i.e., roads, pipelines, offroad tracks), renewable energy infrastructure (i.e., solar and wind), and other private and public development projects (i.e., residential subdivisions, work with the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service and other state agencies).
