
Jack is a heritage advisor based in Extent Heritage’s Melbourne office. He is a graduate of the University of Melbourne, with a Bachelor of Arts (double major in Ancient World Studies and History), an Honours degree in Ancient World Studies, and a Bachelor of Science (major in Animal Disease Biotechnology). Jack has worked on projects investigating Aboriginal and historical heritage in Melbourne and regional Victoria. Along with nearly a decade of research and project management experience in the fields of animal welfare and medical research, Jack has experience planning and managing projects, training staff and stakeholders, preparing OH&S guidelines, and ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory requirements.
While at the University of Melbourne, he focused his studies primarily on Egypt and the Near-East, with a particular interest in social systems and religion. Since joining the Extent Heritage team in Melbourne, Jack has been involved in projects across Victoria, including archaeological surveys, excavations, artefact processing, and the preparation of Cultural Heritage Management Plans.
