Isobel is a Laboratory Conservation Assistant in Extent Heritage’s Melbourne office. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Cultural Materials Conservation from the University of Melbourne, specialising in objects conservation with a focus on archaeological artefacts. Since joining Extent in mid-2025, she has supported cultural heritage management plans through land use and historical research and undertaken conservation of various archaeological assemblages, including photography and documentation, mould remediation, and stabilisation of both organic and inorganic materials. Isobel’s broader experience includes roles in museums, cultural organisations and archaeological conservation projects across Victoria and internationally. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Cultural Materials Conservation (AICCM).
