Grace Stephenson-Gordon

Grace is an experienced archaeologist and heritage advisor with over 9 years expertise in Indigenous Australian archaeology. She specialises in stone artefact analysis, photography and interpretation with experience in Historical artefact analysis (small finds). Grace holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) from La Trobe University and has published papers on her honours research, which focused on the formation rate of use-wear on silcrete stoneartefacts, and prehistoric environmental events in southeastern Australia and how they are preserved in Indigenous Australian Dreaming stories.

Grace is a registered Heritage Advisor in accordance with the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006 (Vic). She has experience as a project manager and field manager and lent her expertise in stone artefact identification for a range of projects, inspections and compliance requirements across Victoria.
