Emily is an experienced archaeologist and has a background in project management, team leadership and stakeholder engagement from their previous work in the IT industry. They have participated in a large-scale archaeological project in western Türkiye, as both a field supervisor, and as part of the photogrammetry team.

Since beginning their role as a Graduate Heritage Advisor with Extent in 2024, Emily has contributed to a range of cultural heritage projects across Victoria, in both the historical and Aboriginal archaeology space. Emily has experience with artefact processing, research support and archaeological fieldwork, and supported the creation and implementation of a new cataloguing database. They are currently pursuing their PhD in Archaeology at the University of Melbourne.
