
Ashleigh is a Senior Heritage Advisor based in Extent Heritage's Melbourne office. She holds a Masters of Professional Archaeology from La Trobe University and a Bachelor of Arts (Archaeology) from the University of Queensland. Her Masters thesis involved the taphonomic analysis of faunal remains from the Florentine Valley in Tasmania dated to the Pleistocene. Ashleigh has been involved in a range of projects across Victoria, including standard and complex assessment testing, manual and mechanical archaeological test excavation, salvage works, and the preparation of CHMPs.
Ashleigh as worked closely with Traditional Owners in Victoria and Queensland on a diverse range of field projects including CHMPs, archaeological salvage, cultural values assessments, and historical archaeological excavations. Asheigh also has previous experience working on large scale archaeological fieldwork projects with government clients such as Parks Victoria and Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority.
